In this Issue
π Packet Pick-Up & Registration Schedule
We have two different registration locations depending on when you plan to check in. Skip the lines on Sunday morning and join us for our Saturday night kickoff! If you are registering onsite on Saturday or Sunday you can download and fill out the registration form: cvcride.org/_files/ugd/daee4e_59b5c4df187e40dd8292b9adf22faf56.pdf - we accept Cash, Checks, and Credit Cards. Note: Credit Card processing fees apply.
Saturday Night Pre-Registration (6:00 PM β 8:00 PM):
Held at Spring Street Sports (12 W. Spring St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729).
Need a last-minute tune-up? If your bike is making a strange noise or needs a quick safety check before you hit the road, the expert team at Spring Street Sports will be on hand to look at and repair your bike so you're ready for a smooth ride.
Mingle & Shop: We highly encourage you to join us Saturday night! Itβs the perfect opportunity to get your bike inspected, pick up your rider wristband early, mingle with fellow riders, and get first dibs at our Souvenir Shop.
Sunday Morning Registration (7:00 AM β 10:00 AM):
Held at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds (225 Edward St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729).
Note: Once you receive and put on your official rider wristband at either location, you are cleared and ready to start your ride!
π» Online Registration is Still Open!
Know someone who still wants to join? Online registration remains open. If they register before Saturday, they will receive a registration discount. Spread the word and invite your friends!
πΊοΈ New Scenic Route Option: The Old Abe State Trail
We are thrilled to offer an optional, scenic route segment this year along the beautiful Old Abe State Trail! This 100% paved blacktop rail-trail offers stunning views of the Chippewa River, starting at the Hwy 178 trail system in Chippewa Falls and running north through Jim Falls to Cornell.
If you choose this beautiful path, please keep the following important details in mind:
State Trail Pass Included: A Wisconsin State Trail Pass is required for riders aged 16+ on this trail. The good news? Your CVCR entry fee already covers the $5.00 daily pass fee! Your rider wristband acts as your daily pass, but you must sign the official Sign-Up Sheet at the registration desk so we can track trail usage and provide proper support.
Annual Pass Upgrade: Want to upgrade to a 2026 Annual State Trail Pass ($25.00)? CVCR will apply a $5.00 credit toward your purchase! Please visit our store at the start or end of the ride to upgrade. By handling your pass in person with us, the revenue directly funds local trail repairs and brush clearing managed by Chippewa County.
Trail Support & Safety: Because of the narrow nature of the trail, traditional road SAG wagons cannot patrol it constantly. We will have a dedicated ATV SAG available on-call. If you need assistance on this segment, please call Lead SAG Russ Bauer at 715-271-7665. Helmets are strictly required, and please remember to stay to the right and obey all trail signs.
π± Route Maps & Important Construction Update
You can view and download all of our official route maps directly at CVCRide.org/maps-route. This page includes direct links to Map My Ride and Ride With GPS files. If you plan to use a navigation app during your ride, we highly recommend downloading these apps and files to your device before arriving at registration.
β οΈ Important Route Change: Due to recent road construction, the 50, 75, and 100-mile routes have been changed slightly immediately following the water stop. The online maps were completely updated on Monday. If you downloaded your route files or printed maps prior to Monday, please visit the site and download the newest versions to make sure you have the accurate, updated course guidance!
π Join the CVCR Scavenger Hunt!
Want to add a little extra adventure to your weekend? Have some fun and try our official CVCR scavenger hunt! Make sure to pick up a scavenger hunt sheet when you check in at the registration desk. Any amount of participation on the hunt earns you a small prize at the end, so keep your eyes peeled out on the course!
π Post-Ride Celebrations: Our Famous Brat Feed!
After you cross the finish line and smash your mileage goals, celebrate your achievement with us! Join your fellow cyclists back at the Fairgrounds for our famous post-ride brat feed to refuel, relax, and share stories from the road.
π Support the "Pedaling to 50" Campaign
As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we are actively looking toward the future. Please consider buying merchandise at our souvenir shop or making a donation to support our "Pedaling to 50" campaign, helping ensure this ride continues to impact the Chippewa Valley community for the next decade and beyond!
Are you planning on taking photos or videos out on the course? We want to see the ride through your eyes! Please upload your favorite moments of the weekend to CVCRide.org/photos2026 so we can feature them in our community galleries.
π Help Us Improve: Online Survey
Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. After the ride, please take a few moments to fill out our online rider survey. Your insights directly provide us with the feedback necessary to improve, refine, and elevate the ride for years to come.
Thank you for being such an integral part of the Chippewa Valley Century Ride. Pedal safe, have fun, and we will see you this weekend!
